The Sixth Session of 2023 Conference on Research Project Declaration Guidance on Philosophy and Social Sciences Convenes Successfully

    On the afternoon of March 4th, the Northeast Asian Studies College of Jilin University (JLU) and the Office of Humanities and Social Sciences Research of Jilin University (JLU) jointly organized the 2023 Conference on Research Project Declaration Guidance on Philosophy and Social Sciences (the sixth session). Researcher Zhang Linxiang, Deputy Director of Jilin Provincial Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science, made a keynote speech on the conference via video link. More than 100 teachers and students from inside and outside university of various organizations of philosophy and social sciences attended the conference, which was presided over by Professor Cui Jian, Deputy Dean of Northeast Asian Studies College of JLU.

    During the conference, Deputy Director Zhang Linxiang selected the theme on how to standardize the research project declaration of social sciences, starting from the "positioning, orientation and finalization" of project declaration and focusing on choosing a suitable project for one's own research, carefully writing the topic design argument, truthfully screening basic conditions for the topic selection, and issues that require attention to expound on how to write a project declaration. Through exemplifying specific writing content of relevant project declaration sheets, he explained how to highlight the key points and improve the quality of argumentation in the writing of project declaration in detail. After the report, the participants exchanged and discussed with Deputy Director Zhang Linxiang on issues in the process of project declaration and argumentation.
